Don't compare yourself to others

The thief of joy is comparison, and we tend to compare ourselves to others and feel bad about ourselves. Instead, focus on your accomplishments and dreams. Don't forget all the things you've accomplished in the past year, and keep moving forward toward your goals.

Do something that scares you every day

If you're afraid of heights, go skydiving. If you're scared of speaking in public, volunteer to speak at a local event. Taking risks helps push you beyond your comfort zone, and doing so helps build confidence and courage.
